An 80-year-old man was arrested Monday for assaulting and raping a 6-year-old boy, according to a statement by the Internal Security Forces.
The Lebanese suspect, born in 1938, was taken into custody after the victim’s father complained to the ISF’s Ghobeiri Platoon about the Monday morning incident. The father provided a forensic medical report confirming signs of sexual assault and claimed the incident had occurred multiple times before.
The suspect was referred to the judiciary for further investigation.
