Near the Nahr al-Kalb river in northern Lebanon drivers parked their buses bringing traffic heading from Kesrouan towards Dbayeh to a halt. The demonstration occurred following an assault by an unnamed bus driver on another driver near the Dora roundabout.
Altercations have broken out between bus drivers near the Dora roundabout on more than one occasion over competition for passengers. Truck drivers and bus drivers often block highways in order to make their voices heard by authorities.
