On the 18th of September, a Lebanese woman died after being shot accidentally by her four-year-old son.
The woman, identified as M.H.H., from the town of Kafra in the district of Bint Jbeil, died after her child pressed the trigger of a hunting rifle, hitting his mother in the stomach. The woman was rushed to Tebnin Government Hospital but died as a result of her wounds.
The family owned the gun in order to hunt wild boar.
