On 07 Sep 15, at around 1815hrs, a security operation started in Taanayel-Central Bekaa, on the entry of the Ceramic Factory & the Flower Plantation. After an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) was discovered, the Lebanese Armed Forces & the Internal Security Forces blocked the road and cordoned off the area. At around 1920hrs, the LAF managed to dismantle the IED. The IED was prepared for remote detonation, weighed around 5 kg and placed on the side of the road.
