BEIRUT: Five thousand dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from a cellphone store in the eastern city of Baalbeck, the state-run National News Agency reported. The unidentified thief was reported to have entered the store at night, pretending to sell cellphones. The store is located near Al-Qinaya Square and is owned by Hussein Tufeili. Local authorities opened an investigation following the incident. No further information has been made available.
