Two men were arrested in Raouche and Zarif for having allegedly forged visas for Hajj pilgrims, the Internal Security Forces announced Monday.

The suspects, identified as Lebanese nationals M.Kh and Aa.K., are ages 31 and 36, respectively. The arrests took place Friday, shortly after a complaint had been filed against them. Eighty-eight Iraqi passports were also found among their possessions, according to the ISF.

During interrogations, the men admitted to having worked to make the fake visas with the help of a third person in Syria. The ISF is asking people who fell victim to this scam to go to the Barbar Al-Khazen barracks in Verdun to initiate legal proceedings against the suspects.
